The Arts Commission to Host Fourth Annual Local Artists Holiday Trunk Show in partnership with the Libbey House Foundation

TOLEDO, OH -- The Arts Commission is pleased to announce the upcoming return of the Local Artists' Holiday Trunk Show in conjunction with the Libbey House Foundation.

The event will feature glass, metal, fabric, acrylic and ceramic artwork from local artists for sale with a portion of proceeds benefiting The Arts Commission's programs. The Friday night preview features early bird shopping, live art demonstration by Aaron Bivens, silent auction, meet the artists, appetizers and a cash bar.

Local artist and returning trunk show participant Dani Herrera shared what makes this event special, "This show is a great benefit to the community and the artists because it allows the public to enjoy the Libbey House, the artists to continue to do what they love to do, and the public to do their Christmas shopping for unique, one of a kind gifts. It makes Christmas shopping fun and a special experience for the whole family."

The event is presented by Libbey House Foundation and The Arts Commission with additional sponsorship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Ohio Arts Council.
